So the car is all packed and we are off to some kind of Agility Nationals. With the amount of luggage and dogs that are in the car I think we are going a long ways and for a long time. I gather from the nerves and excitement that this is a big deal. Both my brothers are competing as well as our car mates, Bracken and Ceili. From what I hear, today we are only going a few hours to Saskatoon, but our final destination is Halton Hills, Ontario. Sounds like two weeks in the car to me! I will do my best to keep you posted on the journey.

Wow! Today was a long day! We drove all the way to Winnipeg, Manitoba. There were many stops along the way for potty breaks, small walks and of course photo ops. 14 weeks old today and I had my picture taken in many places in Saskatchewan. Just what every little girl dreams of! Once we arrived in Winnipeg and everyone was fed and relaxed we ventured out on a walk. This was my first real walk on a leash and I did so good! I ran to keep up with the others but didn't pull on my leash at all. Not bad for a pip-squeak.

Boy, I thought yesterday was long! Today we traveled to Thunder Bay, Ontario. All I wanted to do when we arrived was rip around the hotel room and play with Ceili and Bracken. Porter is very boring in a hotel room, all he wants to do is rub his face on the bed. So I took the opportunity to bug Ceili and chase Bracken around. Bracken is deciding that I am a dog and it is okay to wrestle with me. Once we had some play time and dinner we took a drive to the harbor and I got to take a dip in Lake Superior. Of course, the big question was..."Do you think she will get in the water?" And my answer to that was, "Why the heck not!"

Is it just me or are these days getting longer? Today's journey took us to Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. A very pretty drive with lots of stops for pictures and potty breaks. We even stopped at the home of Winnie the Pooh in White River. There was more chances for me to swim in Lake Superior when we stopped at the beach! Now that was a riot! The water was not as calm as the harbor so there were waves rolling into the beach. If you stood in one spot too long you got drenched! It was great! Bailey fell for it every time! He was so wet! I actually think he waited on purpose to get drenched.

Our hotel here is right on the harbor and I can see lots of birds and boats out the window. The girls were tired and ate supper in the room. So there we were with pizza and a big screen t.v. Now what little puppy could pass up the opportunity to walk in the pizza box, especially when it was wide open on the bed! The boys put me up to it! I provided the distraction so that when I got put on the floor they could get a taste of the pizza. They promised they would share. Liars! Big brothers suck!

The final leg of our trip was to Guelph where we will be staying while attending Nationals. The weather is getting pretty humid and warm. My ears are melting and folding in half. I look a little silly right now. Even I am embarrassed about my ears.We stopped a couple of times to stretch our legs but mostly drove straight through as we had to get to the airport in Toronto to pick up Kiersten and Kes. Now that was some crazy traffic. The short trip from the airport to Guelph took forever. Needless to say, I am glad we are staying put for a few days. A baby girl needs her time and space to run free and there is nothing better than a big backyard and 12 dogs to do that with.

So technically a day of rest today but these crazy agility nuts figured they needed to practice before heading over to the Nationals site. We went to the Royackers facility in Aris, which was about 20 min away. The place was stunning! I got to play in the tunnels and run around with Jazz through the agility field. We had a blast. All the big dogs went in the lake but it was too deep for me. Oh yeah! Porter ran away today. He squeezed himself out of the fence surrounding the agility field. They did get him back but only after causing wide spread panic among the group. He was a very naughty boy.

Once practice was over we went to Halton Hills to set up our crates and tour the grounds. I have myself a nice second floor perch to watch the comings and goings of Nationals. I have lots of visitors to my crate to say hello and everyone wants to pet me. There is so much to see when I am out that visiting with the people is not so important but I do my best to turn on the cute factor. There are tonnes of vendor booths for shopping and my mom is finding all kinds of things to buy me! Yippee for me!

Today for me was pretty boring. Bailey was running in the pre-qualifier so that took all my mom's focus and attention. Good thing is that she has awesome friends who kept getting me out for walks and play time. I can handle one boring day to sleep because that means I am growing! Pretty sure I grew an inch today with all the rest I got. Best part of the day was that Bailey made it into Nationals. All is right in the world.

These past three days have been filled with nerves and excitement. All the gang have been competing so it has just been me and Jazz (my new friend) hanging out in the crate area. Everyday at lunch I get to go shopping with my mom. It is very hot so I don't last too long but long enough to get new toys! Everyone has done well and there is a pile of ribbons going home. A collective sigh of relief as we start to pack up to go home.
